Rogers Named Softball Educational All-America of the Yr

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 6, 2023) – Ashley Rogers from Tennessee was chosen because the 2023 School Sports activities Communicators (CSC) Softball Educational All-America® of the Yr.

Rogers is a kinesiology graduate scholar from Athens, Tenn. with a 4.0 undergraduate and three.96 graduate GPA. She is a three-time All-SEC First Crew choice who was the recipient of the 2023 SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Yr and the Elite 90 award for the 2023 NCAA Division I Softball Championship. Rogers’ efforts this season helped the Woman Vols earn the SEC Softball regular-season and championship titles, the Knoxville Regional title and a spot within the Girls’s School World Sequence. This season, Rogers owned a document of 20-1 with a 0.92 ERA in 144 innings pitched with 179 strikeouts and 47 walks. She threw 13 full video games and 6 shutouts.

Along with Rogers, seven extra student-athletes from the SEC earned a spot on the CSC Educational All-America Groups. Two of the ten repeat picks on the Educational All-America® Division I softball workforce embody Montana Fouts of Alabama and Kiki Milloy of Tennessee.
